Give Your Travelling Workers a
Home Away From Home
FlopBox is home comfy accommodation for your workers that are on the road, passing through Marlborough, or needing a bit longer stay for a work commitment. FlopBox promises your staff will be warmly welcomed, given exceptionally comfortable beds to sleep in with all natural fibre bedding. They will be fed a hearty home cooked meal at night if required, and have breakfast supplies made available to them.
My idea of FlopBox came about seeing the shortage of worker accommodation at peak times such as Grape Harvest in Marlborough. I also saw a need for companies to be able to put their workers into an environment that is more than just a room, with some home comforts, especially if they are staying for a block period of time. Companies have an all inclusive, set cost which assists in budgeting, cashflow and the “no surprises” factor with food expenses for their staff. Marlborough based, I will be building my network of properties nationally. Please make contact if you have any questions.

We have a range of accommodation options to choose from. Room only, with the option to add dinner, breakfast or packed lunch, the choice is yours. Our rates vary based on length of stay:
- One off stays
- Regular stays of 2+ nights per week
- Stays of 2 weeks or longer

I have been told I am a great cook. I’ll take it! I am generous of nature, have a welcoming personality, am respectful of everyone’s privacy, and will go the extra mile to ensure your staff have a great stay at FlopBox. My goal is that their stay is enjoyable, fun, and good enough that on return visits they won’t want to stay anywhere else in Marlborough. In return I ask for your staff to respect my home, me and the other housemates (pooches).

Last year I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to do the annual Grape Harvest. The company was looking for somewhere that two drivers could stay with other than the usual places. As well we know last year was challenging at Harvest Time with Covid and lock down.
Heather went out of her way to keep us safe and also made us feel welcome. I recommend Heather’s House for your stay but not during the Grape Harvest as we are going back.
